When I met Chris and his colleague, Juliette Pannone, I knew I was on the right track. I felt at ease with them and sensed that I could work with them. As they talked about the property’s potential. I was impressed with their knowledge and never felt pressured or subject to a hard sell. I appreciated their flexibility, starting with options concerning staging. One of the challenges with selling the property was that it was not vacant. One of the two renovated apartments was occupied, as was a third apartment that had not been renovated. Selling a vacant building would have been easier, but I was reluctant to vacate the building out of a fear that if there was no sale I would be stuck with a vacant building and no income. Chris and Juliette understood my concerns and were ready to take a let’s-see-what-happens approach. In no time, I received an initial offer to buy the building with tenants, but unfortunately the offer fell through. Eventually, I received another offer, one that entailed vacating just one of the two occupied apartments. I accepted it, vacated the apartment, and we closed. Until I received that offer, Chris and Juliette held open houses every Sunday. When holidays fell on two weekends, they held open houses midweek, showing an impressive level of commitment. From the start of the process to the end, they stayed in touch, provided me with regular updates, and my phone calls were always promptly returned, something I really valued. In every regard, they went above and beyond."
