423 Atlantic Avenue 3-B

Welcome home! This spectacular, one-of-a-kind, spacious loft in one of Boerum Hill's most coveted co-ops has hit the market for the first time in decades. Previously owned by a prolific artist, this sprawling 1006 square-foot property in the renowned Ex-Lax building is the quintessential definition of open loft living. Reimagine and customize this extraordinary airy, light-filled space, which features soaring ceilings, oversized windows, and impressive industrial stanchions. What sets the iconic Ex-lax building apart from the rest is its rich history and character as a 1920 factory & bottling plant-turned-true loft conversion, wherein no apartment is the same as any other. This authentic, oversized loft is currently configured with a separate bedroom, a voluminous great room for living and dining, as well as a galley kitchen and full bath. Redesign the home of your dreams -- easily opening the kitchen and removing its non-structural bedroom walls to create an expansive, flow-through loft space or reconfigure in any number of ways. This unique residence even boasts a highly sought-after (and rare in the building) deeded parking space! Enjoy the building's fabulous common roof deck, with sweeping views of New York harbor, the Manhattan & Downtown Brooklyn skylines, plus the Statue of Liberty beyond. Set in the heart of vibrant Boerum Hill, 423 Atlantic Avenue is a well-established, pet-friendly cooperative, converted in 1981, with a live-in super and a full-time porter. The best of Brooklyn surrounds in every direction, including abundant cultural offerings like BAM and Barclays Center, wonderful eateries, boutiques and artisanal shops and access to almost every subway line.
